Initial Contact & Consultation

Once you get in touch with our team, we will schedule a visit to you at your property in order to see the space and fully understand your requirements. After that, we can arrange a visit to our showroom, or for you to visit one of our recently completed kitchens, where you can experience the quality and ambiance of the spaces we create first-hand. If you're a serious cook, we can also arrange for you to visit showrooms of leading appliance brands, where you can see all the available options and choose a suite of appliances that best suits your needs.

Concept Design

Once site measurements or architectural drawings have been received, we develop an initial concept focused on spatial flow, functionality and proportion.

Using detailed drawings and visualisations, we explore layouts, materials and key architectural details to establish the overall direction of the project.

Indicative costings are provided alongside the concept design to ensure alignment between scope, specification and budget from the outset.

Detailed Design

Once the design direction has been agreed, we move into the detailed development stage of the project.

During this phase, materials, finishes, internal storage, appliance integration and technical details are carefully refined. Clients are invited to visit our design studio in Herriard to review material palettes and finalise specifications.

Comprehensive production drawings and final costings are then prepared prior to manufacture.

Manufacturing

Once approved, the project moves into production at our Hampshire workshop, where each kitchen is manufactured by our experienced cabinet makers.

Combining traditional craftsmanship with precision manufacturing techniques, we produce cabinetry tailored specifically to the requirements of each project.

Throughout this stage, we coordinate closely with architects, builders and contractors, providing detailed service drawings and technical information to support the wider build programme.

Installation

Installation is carried out by our experienced fitting team, ensuring the same level of precision and attention to detail established during manufacture is maintained on site.

We work closely with contractors and project teams throughout the installation period to ensure cabinetry, appliances, lighting and work surfaces integrate seamlessly within the wider project.

Final adjustments and finishing details are carefully completed before handover.

Aftercare

We believe well-made kitchens should continue to perform beautifully long after installation.

As cabinetry naturally settles within a new environment, we provide follow-up adjustments where required during the first year following installation.

We also work exclusively with appliance manufacturers recognised for their reliability and long-term support, ensuring every kitchen is backed by both exceptional craftsmanship and dependable product warranties.

“We had the best experience possible with Daulby and Tickle. From the initial consultation with to the final installation of our kitchen - we found them to be easy to work with, highly skilled with amazing quality and excellent customer service. They delivered an outstanding kitchen that was worth every penny paid. We’d be delighted to work with Frank and the team again on our next project.”
